The Los Angeles County Democratic Party (LACDP) voted unanimously to endorse Patricia Castellanos for LA School Board.

LACDP represents the 2.8 million Democrats across LA, and carefully considered all the candidates for LAUSD, District 7, before voting unanimously at their monthly meeting to put their support firmly behind Castellanos.

“Patricia Castellanos earned the support of the Democratic Party because she shares our values and commitment to protecting and strengthening our neighborhood schools,” said Mark Gonzalez, LA County Democratic Party Chair.

“I’m incredibly grateful to have been endorsed by the Los Angeles County Democratic Party, which represents 2.7 million registered Democrats. Much respect to the dedicated party activists and volunteers that uphold our democratic ideals and support public schools. From the school board to the White House, change is coming.

Castellanos is the only candidate endorsed by the Democratic Party, the 33,000+ frontline teachers of United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA), SEIU Local 99 Education Workers United, the LA County Federation of Labor, and progressive elected officials like Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson, LAUSD Board Member Jackie Goldberg, County Supervisors Sheila Kuehl and Hilda Solis, and many more!
