Building on the groundswell of support in recent weeks, the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor – representing 800,000 working men and women across LA – has officially endorsed Patricia Castellanos for LA School Board.

Since 1885, the LA Fed has been a force for equality and opportunity in Los Angeles and now represents more than 300 affiliated unions with common values. Their mission is to safeguard the rights of working people and make a real difference for their families and communities.

The LA County Federation of Labor joins progressive organizations and leaders across District 7 and LA County supporting Castellanos. She is the only candidate endorsed by the Democratic Party, the 33,000+ frontline teachers of United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA), SEIU Local 99 Education Workers United, and elected officials like Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson, LAUSD Board Member Jackie Goldberg, County Supervisors Sheila Kuehl and Hilda Solis, and many more!
